Re: Clarification on the IRDAI (Assets, Liabilities andSolvency Margin of Life Insurance Business) Regulations, 2016 and IRDAI (Assets,Liabilities and Solvency Margin of General Insurance Business) Regulations,2016.

1.  आईआरडीएआई(जीवन बीमाव्यवसाय कीआस्तियाँ, देयताएँऔर शोधक्षमतामार्जिन)विनियम, 2016 के विनियम11 औरआईआरडीएआई(साधारण बीमाव्यवसाय की आस्तियाँ,देयताएँ औरशोधक्षमतामार्जिन)विनियम, 2016 केविनियम 11 केअंतर्गतनिहित शक्तियोंका प्रयोगकरते हुए,निम्नलिखितस्पष्टीकरणजारी कियेजाते हैं :

Inexercise of the power vested under Regulation 11 of the IRDAI (Assets,Liabilities and Solvency Margin of Life Insurance Business) Regulations, 2016and Regulation 11 of the IRDAI (Assets, Liabilities and Solvency Margin ofGeneral Insurance Business) Regulations, 2016, the following clarifications areissued:

(क)        आईआरडीएआई(जीवन बीमाव्यवसाय कीआस्तियाँ, देयताएँऔर शोधक्षमतामार्जिन)विनियम, 2016 केविनियम 9 एवंआईआरडीएआई(साधारण बीमाव्यवसाय कीआस्तियाँ,देयताएँ औरशोधक्षमतामार्जिन)विनियम, 2016 केविनियम 9 केप्रयोजन केलिए, यहस्पष्ट कियाजाता है किनियुक्त बीमांककको प्राधिकरणके उपमहाप्रबंधकके दर्जे सेअन्यून पद केअधिकारी द्वाराप्राधिकरणमें उसकेवैयक्तिक आगमनकी अपेक्षाकरने के लिएकारणों केबारे मेंसूचनापर्याप्त समयपहले दीजाएगी।

(a) For thepurpose of Regulation 9 of the IRDAI (Assets, Liabilities and Solvency Marginof Life Insurance Business) Regulations, 2016 and Regulation 9 of the IRDAI(Assets, Liabilities and Solvency Margin of General Insurance Business)Regulations, 2016, it is clarified that the Appointed Actuary will be intimatedwell in advance through a communication to be sent by an officer of the Authoritynot below the rank of Deputy General Manager about the reasons for seekinghis/her personal visit to the Authority.

2. यहपरिपत्रतत्कालप्रभाव सेलागू होता है।

Thiscircular comes into force with immediate effect.

3.  यहसक्षमप्राधिकारीके अनुमोदन सेजारी कियाजाता है।

Thisis issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.
