StandardVector Borne Disease Health Policy

मानकसदिश जनित रोगविशिष्टस्वास्थ्यबीमा उत्पादउपलब्ध करानेके लिए जो किनिर्दिष्टसदिश जनित रोगोंके स्वास्थ्यबीमा कवरेजप्राप्त करनेके लिए बीमितजनता कीआवश्यकता कोपूरा कर सके, “मानकसदिश जनित रोगस्वास्थ्यपॉलिसी” परएक्सपोज़रड्राफ्ट केसाथ मानक नियमऔर शर्तें (अनुबंध–1), ग्राहकसूचना शीट(अनुबंध-2)और प्रयोग एवंफाइल फार्मेट(अनुबंध -3) जारीकिया जाता हैऔर इसके साथ संलग्नकिया जाता है।सभी साधारणऔर स्वास्थ्यबीमाकर्ताओंको इस उत्पादको प्रदानकरने के लिएप्रोत्साहितकिया जाएगा।

In order to make available a standard VectorBorne Disease specific health insurance product addressing the needs ofinsuring public for getting health insurance coverage to specified Vector BorneDiseases, an exposure draft on " Standard Vector Borne Disease HealthPolicy" along with standard terms and conditions (Annexure -1), CustomerInformation Sheet (Annexure- 2) and Use and File Application Format(Annexure-3)  is issued  and attached herewith. All general andhealth insurers will be encouraged to offer this product.

एक्सपोजरड्राफ्ट मेंयह प्रस्तावकिया गया हैकि उत्पाद कोएक वर्ष की एकनिश्चित अवधिके लिए प्रदान किया जाएगाजिसमेंबीमाकर्ताओंको उपयोग औरफ़ाइलप्रक्रिया केतहत उत्पाद कोप्रदान करनेकी अनुमतिदेने काप्रस्ताव 15दिनों की प्रतीक्षाअवधि के साथहोगा। तथापि, हितधारकोंसे अनुरोधकिया जाता हैकि वेनिम्नलिखितके विशिष्टसंदर्भ के साथसमीक्षा करेंऔर टिप्पणियाँप्रस्तुतकरें।

In the exposure draft it isproposed that the product shall be offered for a fixed term of one year with awaiting period of 15 days proposing to permit insurers to offer the productunder Use and File procedure. However, stakeholders are requested to examineand furnish comments with specific reference to the following: 

1. क्यामानक सदिशजनित रोगउत्पाद कोदिनांक 22 जुलाई2020 स्वास्थ्यबीमा व्यवसायसंदर्भ : आईआरडीएआई/एचएलटी/आरईजी/परि/194/07/2020में उत्पादफाइलिंग परसमेकितदिशानिर्देश केफाइल और उपयोग(अध्याय III) अथवा उपयोगऔर फाइलप्रक्रिया(अध्याय IV) के अनुसारदर्ज कियाजाना चाहिए।

Whether  standard VectorBorne Disease Product should be filed as per file and use (Chapter III) or useand file procedure (Chapter IV) of Consolidated Guidelines on Productfiling in Health Insurance Business Ref: IRDAI/HLT/REG/CIR/194/07/2020dated 22nd July,2020. 

2. क्याप्रस्तावितमानक सदिशजनित रोगउत्पाद को कमअवधि (एकवर्ष से कम पॉलिसीअवधि) केलिए प्रदानकिया जा सकताहै, क्योंकिये सदिश जनितरोग आम तौर परमौसमी होतेहैं ।

Whether the proposed standardvector borne disease product shall be offered for a shorter term (less than oneyear policy duration) as these vector-borne diseases are generallyseasonal. 

3. 15दिनों कीप्रस्तावितप्रतीक्षाअवधि पर विशिष्टसुझाव

Specific suggestions on theproposed waiting period of 15 days. 

हितधारकोंसे उत्पाद केलिए उपयुक्तनाम सुझाने काभी अनुरोधकिया जाता है।जिस व्यक्ति कासुझाया गयानाम चुनाजाएगा, उसेआईआरडीएआई केअध्यक्ष द्वाराप्रशंसा पत्रजारी कियाजाएगा ।

Stakeholders are also requested tosuggest a suitable name for the product. The person whose suggested name isselected will be issued a certificate of appreciation by Chairman,IRDAI.  

सभीहितधारकों सेअनुरोध है किवे संलग्न प्रारूपमें एक्सपोजरड्राफ्ट परअपनी टिप्पणियां/सुझाव27 नवंबर, 2020तक प्रेषितकरें। 

All the stakeholders arerequested to forward their comments/suggestions on the exposure draft by 27thNovember, 2020 in the attached format.
