 Re: Extension of timelines to comply with theStandards and Benchmarks for the Hospitals in the Provider Network

1.    मास्टरपरिपत्रसंदर्भ: आईआरडीएआई/एचएलटी/आरईजी/सीआईआर/193/07/2020 दिनांकित 22 जुलाई, 2020 इसकेबाद अध्याय IV केरूप मेंउल्लिखित केअनुच्छेद 1 केअन्तर्गतस्वास्थ्यबीमा मेंमानकीकरणसंबंधीदिशा-निर्देशोंके अध्याय IV की ओरसंदर्भआमंत्रितकिया जाता है।

Referenceis invited to Chapter IV of the Guidelines on Standardization in HealthInsurance under Section 1 of Master Circular ref: IRDAI/HLT/REG/CIR/193/ 07/2020dated 22^nd July, 2020 hereafter referred as Chapter IV.

2.   उपरोक्तदिशा-निर्देशोंके आंशिकसंशोधन में,वर्तमानकोविड-19महामारी कोध्यान मेंरखते हुए,अध्याय IV की धारा (ए) (i) और (ii) मेंनिर्दिष्टमानकों और मानदण्डोंके अनुपालन केलिए समय-सीमाको, सभीवर्तमाननेटवर्कप्रदाताओं केलिए एक और वर्षकी अवधि केलिए बढ़ाया गया है।  

In partialmodification of the captioned guidelines, taking into consideration theprevailing COVID 19 pandemic, the timelines for complying with the standardsand benchmarks specified at Clause (a) (i) and (ii) of Chapter IV standsextended for a further period of one year for all the existing networkproviders. 

3.    अध्यायIV कीधारा ए (iii) मेंनिर्दिष्टमानदण्ड सभीनवागंतुकोंके लिए लागूरहेंगे। 

The normsspecified at Clause a (iii) of Chapter IV shall continue to be applicable for allthe new entrants. 

4.    उसमेंनिर्दिष्टअन्यमानदण्डोंमें कोई परिवर्तननहीं है।

There is nochange in the other norms specified therein.

5.    यहपरिपत्रआईआरडीएआई(स्वास्थ्यबीमा) विनियम 2016के विनियम 31(ङ) के अनुसारजारी किया गयाहै।

 This Circularis issued in terms of Regulation 31(e) of the IRDAI (Health Insurance)Regulations 2016.
