विषय:दूरस्थसंचालितएयरक्राफ्टप्रणाली(आरएपीएस) / ड्रोनप्रौद्योगिकीके बीमा केलिएकार्यकारीसमूह

Sub: Working Group for insurance ofRemotely Piloted Aircraft System (RAPS)/ Drone Technology

ड्रोन,द्रुतगति सेविकसित हो रहीप्रौद्योगिकियोंके रूप मेंउभर रहे हैंऔर इनकाइस्तेमाल विभिन्नउद्देश्योंसे किया जारहा है। उनकीसंख्या तेजीसे बढ रही है।ड्रोनवर्तमानकोविड-19 कीस्थिति मेंमहत्वपूर्णभूमिका निभारहे हैं औरविभिन्नप्राधिकारियोंकी अनेक गतिविधियोंमें सहायता कररहे हैं।ड्रोनों के इस्तेमालमें शामिलविभिन्नजोखिमों कोकवर करने केलिए उपयुक्तबीमा उपलब्धकराने की तुरंतआवश्यकता है।

Drones are emerging as one of thefastest growing technologies and are being used for a variety of purposes.Their numbers are growing rapidly. Drones are playing a significant role in thecurrent COVID 19 situation, assisting various authorities in severalactivities. There is an immediate need to make available suitable insuranceproducts covering the various risks involved in the use of Drones.

2. उपरोक्तपृष्ठभूमिमें,प्राधिकरण नेएक कार्यकारीसमूह का निम्नप्रकार गठनकरने कानिर्णय कियाहै:

In the above backdrop, theAuthority has decided to constitute a Working Group as follows:

 3. कार्यकारीसमूह केविचारार्थविषय निम्न प्रकारहैं:

The Terms of Reference ofthe Working Group are as under:

I.       आरपीएएसमालिकों औरपरिचालकों कीआवश्यकताओंका अध्ययनकरना औरसमझना।

Study andunderstand the insurance needs of RPAS owners and operators

II.      तृतीयपक्षदेयतासहित आरपीएएस केमालिकों औरपरिचालकों कीआवश्यकताओंके पूरा करने केलिए उत्पाद/दों के डिजाइनऔर विकास से संबंधितअनुशंसाएँकरना।

Makerecommendations relating to design and development of product/s meeting theneeds of RPAS owners and operators, including Third Party Liability.

III.    पुनर्बीमाकेपरिप्रेक्ष्यसहित ऐसे खतरोंकेजोखिमांकन सेसंबंधितअनुशंसाएँकरना।

Make recommendationsrelating to underwriting of such risks including the re-insurance perspective.

IV.   विषयसे संबंधितकिसी अन्यप्रासंगिकमामले की जाँचकरना।

To examine anyother relevant matter relating to the subject.

4.   कार्यकारीसमूह को अपनीरिपोर्ट इसआदेश की तिथिसे छ: सप्ताहके भीतरप्रस्तुतकरना होगा।

    The Working Group shallsubmit its report within six weeks of the date of this Order.
