विषयःदूर-चिकित्सा(टेलीमेडिसिन)संबंधी दिशानिर्देशः

Re: Guidelines on Telemedicine:

1.           भारतीयचिकित्सापरिषद ने “दूर-चिकित्सापद्धतिदिशानिर्देश” 25 मार्च 2020 कोजारी कियेहैं, जिससेदूर-चिकित्साका प्रयोगकरते हुएपंजीकृतचिकित्साव्यवसायीस्वास्थ्य-रक्षाउपलब्ध करासकें।

Medical Council of India has issued‘Tele Medicine practice guidelines’ on 25th of March 2020, enablingregistered Medical Practitioners to provide Healthcare using Tele Medicine.

2.           उपर्युक्तपृष्ठभूमिमेंबीमाकर्ताओंको सूचित कियाजाता है कि वेजहाँ भीपालिसी संविदाकी शर्तों मेंचिकित्साव्यवसायी केसाथ परामर्शकी अनुमति हैवहाँदूर-चिकित्साकी अनुमतिदें।

In the above background, insurersare advised to allow telemedicine wherever consultation with a medicalpractitioner is allowed in the terms and conditions of policy contract.

3.           प्रदत्तदूर-चिकित्सा,दूर-चिकित्सापद्धति दिशानिर्देशदिनांक 25मार्च 2020 का एवंउनके समय-समयपरयथासंशोधितरूप काअनुपालनकरेगी।

Telemedicine offered shall be incompliance with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines dated 25th ofMarch 2020 and as amended from time to time.

4.           दूर-चिकित्साकी अनुमतिदेने काप्रावधान बीमाकर्ताओंकी पालिसी केदावा निपटानका भाग होगातथा किसी भीआशोधन के लिएप्राधिकरण केपास इसे अलगसे फाइल करनेकी आवश्यकतानहीं होगी।तथापि, उत्पादकी उप-सीमाओं,मासिक/वार्षिकसीमाओं आदि केमानदंड किसीछूट के बिनालागू होंगे।

Provision of allowing telemedicineshall be part of claim settlement of policy of the insurers and need not befiled separately with the Authority for any modification. However, the norms ofsub limits, monthly/ annual limits etc. of the product shall apply without anyrelaxation.

5. इसेसक्षमप्राधिकारीका अनुमोदनप्राप्त है।

This has the approval of the competentauthority.
