IRDAI has constituted a working group on Standardization of Exclusions in Health Insurance Contracts. The report of the working group is published in IRDAI website on 02nd November, 2018 for information of stakeholders.

On examining the recommendations of the Working Group for Standardization of Exclusions in Health Insurance Contracts, it is proposed to issue the following Guidelines.

1.         Guidelines on Standardization of Exclusions in Health Insurance Contracts

2.         Modification Guidelines on Product Filing in Health Insurance

3.         Modification Guidelines on Standardization in Health Insurance

The exposure draft on the above guidelines are attached herewith.  All stakeholders are requested to offer their comments / suggestions on the proposed Guidelines by 31st May, 2019 in the attached format.  The comments / suggestions may be mailed to pankaj.sharma@irda.gov.in and aparnakavuri@irda.gov.in.
