RECRUITMENT OF ACTUARIAL APPRENTICES
About IIB:
Insurance Information Bureau of India (IIB) was established by the Insurance Regulatory & Development Authority of India (IRDA) as a single platform to meet the data needs of the Insurance industry, in 2009.
IIB fills the need for a sector-level data repository and analytics which would empower stakeholders through provision of accurate, timely, reliable insurance data and analysis. The Bureau is also mandated with the responsibility of throwing insights in issues of strategic importance by generating reports through deployment of advanced analytics.
IIB will provide information support on a complete, consistent, and concise manner, to all stakeholders associated either directly or indirectly with the Insurance sector, including insurers, regulator and government agencies.
Job Description
Title of Position: Actuarial Apprentice
Eligibility Criteria:
i. Should have passed CT5 and CT6 papers of examination of Institute of Actuaries of India or have appeared and awaiting result.
ii. Should be proficient in Computer knowledge and MS applications like excel, word etc.
iii. High percentage of Marks obtained in the Mathematics subject (more than 70%) in intermediate and graduation.
Duration of apprenticeship: On Contract period up to a maximum of 3 years
Monthly Stipend (on a consolidated basis): 1st year Rs.10,000/-,
2nd year Rs. 12,000/-,
3rd Year Rs. 15,000/-
No further allowance or accommodation etc will be provided. The increase in stipend for second and third year will be subject to passing of at least one paper during the previous year. If the candidate is unable to pass minimum of one paper in 1st and 2nd year, the increment in stipend for 2nd and 3rd year will be considered only after completion of 1 paper and 2 papers after 1st and 2nd year respectively.

Shortlisted candidates for the final round of interview at IIB, Hyderabad will be reimbursed for to & fro travel (2nd class railway) expenses. Lodging and boarding expenses for the stay will be on own arrangement of the candidate.
