The Authority has been, for some time, considering the need for having a separate regulation on “microinsurance”. A concept paper (Attached) on the salient features of the proposed scheme is attached. We shall appreciate receiving your valuable comments and suggestions on the various features of microinsurance. The Authority would like to make use of this paper and the suggestions, if any for drafting the regulations on microinsurance.
