The Pan India Insurance Quiz is designed to encourage participation of all intermediaries including agents, corporate agents, TPAs, Surveyors and brokers who play a vital role in the value chain of insurance business. All insurers are grouped in to 8 zones across the country and entries were sought to nominate their teams consisting of three members representing any of the above intermediaries except the brokers for participation in the allotted zone. Insurance Brokers Association of India (IBAI) was asked to nominate brokers’ teams one at each Zone.

The Quarter finals were conducted at eight centres viz. Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore respectively.

The Semi finals were conducted at four centres viz. Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Chennai respectively.

After completion of semi-finals, the following teams entered in to the finals.

The winners of the finals were Royal Sundaram Alliance General Insurance Co Ltd and the runners were Reliance General Insurance Co Ltd. The Prizes to the winners and runners of the Finals were given by Chief Guest and Chairman, IRDA as part of these celebrations.

IRDA acknowledges the support of Insurance Institute of India, National Insurance Academy, co-ordinators of sponsoring insurance companies, Councils, as well as participants for smooth conduct of various rounds of Quiz programmes at different places and in celebrating Insurance Awareness Day.
