Guidelines on Standardization in Health Insurance
In an attempt to improve service standards in the health insurance sector, IRDAI has issued guidelines standardizing 42 most commonly used definitions/terms/conditions in health insurance policies. The guidelines also include definitions of twenty two common critical illnesses covered under various health insurance policies in India. For details, please read the guidelines.
